Manage prompt templates for AI translation, correction, polishing, summaries, and explanations
Prompts manages instruction templates sent to AI models. Prompts do not apply to machine translation.

| Delete | Remove a template. Choose another prompt first if a configuration still references it. |

How prompts are applied
Translation, Selection Toolbar actions, speech translation, and Translate / Correct can select a prompt. When a workflow has no dedicated prompt, it uses the default prompt.
The current prompt editor asks you to describe the assistant's role, expertise, style, and domain. EasyChat adds language, task, and output rules automatically. Keep instructions focused; long or contradictory instructions can make model output less consistent.
Prompt roles
A role describes the perspective the model should use, such as “professional translator,” “English teacher,” or “writing assistant.” EasyChat includes 26 preset prompts that you can use directly.
Language parameters
For legacy or imported prompt templates, these placeholders are replaced when the AI model is called:
[SourceLang]: the current source language.[TargetLang]: the current target language.
