Translate / Correct
Use AI models for text translation, correction, and writing assistance
Translate / Correct is an AI workspace for longer text. Configure at least one AI model under Setting > Translation before using it.
Translate
Enter or paste text, choose source and target languages, the translation engine, model, and prompt, then translate. AI translation can stream its response and show Detailed notes with meanings, collocations, key words, uncommon words, and usage tips. Dictionary results and TTS playback are also available where supported.
Machine translation can be selected for general translation, but it does not provide AI-only notes or dictionary details.
Correct
The correction tab finds spelling, grammar, and expression problems. It shows the corrected result along with Issues and suggestions and Detailed notes, making it suitable for emails, essays, documentation, and foreign-language drafts. An AI model is required.
Relationship to shortcuts
Quick Translate, Quick Correction, and the Selection Toolbar are optimized for short, immediate actions. This page is better for manual editing, longer text, and reviewing a complete result. Its languages, model, and prompt can be configured for the current workflow.
