Selection Toolbar

Translate, summarize, polish, correct, or explain selected text

How to use it

  1. Under Setting > Selection, enable Enable Selection Toolbar and choose the actions you need:
    • Translate: translate the selection into a chosen target language.
    • Summary: produce a short summary of the selection.
    • Polish: improve fluency and style.
    • Correct: correct grammar and wording.
    • Explain: explain the meaning or context.
  2. Select text in another application. When the toolbar appears, choose an action.

Except for general translation, these actions require an AI model.

Trigger and application scope

Selection Method provides three trigger modes:

  • Double-click: show the toolbar when you double-click a word or phrase.
  • Press and hold: show it after selecting text by holding the mouse button.
  • All: enable both methods.

Selection actions can also be assigned on the Shortcut page. Shortcut actions remain available even when the automatic Selection Toolbar is disabled.

Use Setting > Selection > Application List to control where the automatic toolbar appears:

  • In blacklist mode, the toolbar is disabled in listed applications and enabled elsewhere.
  • In whitelist mode, the toolbar is enabled only in listed applications.

The application list does not restrict selection action shortcuts; global shortcuts continue to work in every application.
